Hi, Based on the error message, it seems that your driver is not applied to Windows 10. Here I suggest you contact the manufacture support to confirm if there is latest version of the driver for Windows 10. If yes, u ninstall the driver from Device Manager, and then scan for new hardware to install the driver again. In the device's Properties dialog box, click the Driver tab, and then click Uninstall. Follow the instructions. Restart your computer. Open Device Manager, click Action, and then click Scan for hardware changes.
Follow the instructions. Please remember to mark the replies as answers if they help. If you have feedback for TechNet Subscriber Support, contact. Frank, So was this Windows 10 a work computer?
What's its environment, domain or workgroup? Tsn.tno.nl Did you mean this driver could be installed and used normally on your private PC? Yes TsUsbFlt.sys is Microsoft Windows Remote Desktop USB Hub Filter Driver system driver file. Did you access that computer via RDP? No What if you disable all security software? How can I disable all the security?
The security could be the case. Because I this morning Ia work PC with less security and on this one it also worked. I do not know what the difference is between those installation.
I have to ask the IT department ( up to know they could not help me ). I have admin right and we also tried with the IT departement which has more admin right than I have, but it still did not work. I wanted to tried to do it in save mode, but upto now I could not get the PC into that mode (I will try it again). Hi Karan, I ask the IT department and both are Domain computers. We also tried it with the windows 10 version from the working computer on the non working computer but it still did not work. I also can see in the events tab, difference between working and non working computer: Non working computer has the event: 'Device not started (FTDIBUS)' While on the working computer it event says: 'Device started (FTDIBUS)' So I think it has something to do with the ftdibus.sys driver file, which is not installed correctly regards, Frank.
Karen, IT department says that it could be due to diffrent kernel versions and that the driver does something in or with the kernel. The one that is working has version 14393.693 the non working has version 14393.0. Regards, Frank Frank, The current build is Windows 10 14393.970. Please update to this build to check the result. If it works fine, I suggest you deploy it to all your computers.
